A total of 155 doctors with domestically famous colleges and research institutes including Peking University and Tsinghua University will pay visits to the city’s innovation and initiating parks and companies in the coming two days during the One Hundred Doctors On a Dalian Tour which kicks off July 27.

　　The GDP of the city rises 15 percent year on year since the implementation of the revitalization strategy of Northeastern Traditional Industrial Base, said Xia Deren, General Secretary of CPC, Dalian Committee at the unveil ceremony of the event, July 27.

　　The economic development leads to education thriving with 22 high schools and 280 thousand students on campus at present, said Xia.

　　However, statistics show that 200 thousand talents are still needed in manufacturing and equipment, electronic information industries.

　　The annual event was started in 2006 with over 500 superior talents settling down in Dalian each year.
