The 11th China International Beer Festival came to a close at Xinghai Bay, Dalian, a coastal city of Northeastern China’s Liaoning Province, August 10, 2009.
The twelve days festival gathered over thirty brewers with more than four hundred brands and 1.6 million tourists to the revel.
In addition, over three hundred stage performances were held to add the festive air to this grand carnival.
Covering an exhibition area of over 400,000 square meters, over thirty prestigious brewers from home and abroad including Huarun,Yanjing,Zhujiang,Qingdao, Daxue, Russia’s Baltika and Japan’s Asahi sold out more than 1,500 tons beer during the festival.
Related departments implemented over sixty measures in fields of food sanitation, public security and fire protection to safeguard the festival.
Vice mayor of Munich, Germany, claimed the China International Beer Festival is the largest beer festival in the world as well as the Munich Beer Festival. Overseas Medias also paid their attention to this festival.
Delegations from more than ten domestic cities such as Haerbin,Qingdao, Tianjin,Kunming, Hangzhou and Shantou also came to investigate this festival.
